New Shows at Disney California Adventure
We expect tens of thousands of avid Disneyland fans to descend on Disney California Adventure Park this weekend to enjoy the new rides, shopping, dining, and beauty of Cars Land and Buena Vista Street.
In addition, many new shows are premiering in the park on June 15. Although Disney provided brief descriptions of these shows on the Disney Parks Blog, the opening day schedule was not announced until last weekend.
Here are the new (or newly resurrected) shows you can expect in California Adventure on Friday, June 15, 2012:
- Dancin’ With Disney (character dance party in Stage 17 of Hollywood Land):
1:00 pm to 5:00 pm - DJ’s Dance ‘n Drive (interactive mobile dance party on Route 66 in Cars Land):

Located near the heart of the entertainment industry, the Disneyland Resort is known for having strong live entertainment. These shows are expected to continue that tradition.
California Adventure has already hosted informal previews of some of these shows, so some lucky guests have already enjoyed them (including one of our bloggers who attended a Mad T Party preview).
Showtimes for June and part of July are published on Disneyland’s Park Hours and Schedule page. (Note that this is the only place we have seen “Instant Concert! …Just Add Water” used as the title for the new show featuring Goofy as a concert conductor.) If you are heading to Disneyland Resort soon, look there or in our Lines mobile app for showtimes (where they’ll be added soon).
Enjoy the shows!
