New Summer 2025 Disney World Passholder Dining Deal!

Summer heat isn’t the only thing heating up at Walt Disney World this year—there’s a hot new dining deal just for Annual Passholders that’s about to make your stomach (and your wallet) very happy. Starting May 14th and running through July 31st, Passholders can enjoy 40% off food and non-alcoholic beverages at select Table Service restaurants across Walt Disney World.

Yes, you read that right—40%. That’s almost like ordering two desserts and only paying for one. Or at least that’s how we’re thinking about it! But before you start dreaming about that second slice of cake, there are some details to know. This deal is limited to specific restaurants and dates, and the lineup changes partway through the summer. Don’t worry—we’ve got all the info you need. Let’s break it down.

May 14 – June 30 Passholder Dining Discounts

During the first half of this promotion, the dining discount options lean heavily into high-satisfaction, crowd-pleasing spots. Including character meals! And fine dining! Here are your options, along with their average satisfaction scores from the past 12 months. Tap any restaurant name to see menus.

  • Hollywood & Vine – 92% satisfaction
Character meal alert! If you’ve got kiddos (or kids-at-heart), this is your chance to save big while meeting the characters. Disney Junior characters are very popular with the youngest kids during breakfast, and meeting Minnie and friends in seasonal garb for lunch and dinner can be a great option for anyone. Food quality here has been on the upswing for the past couple of years, with satisfaction scores going up too. Don’t let old reviews scare you away from making a reservation here.

  • Tusker House (Lunch and Dinner) – 93% satisfaction
Another character meal, this time with Donald and pals in their safari gear. This one’s a perennial crowd favorite for its lively atmosphere and plentiful buffet. You can’t do breakfast, but lunch and dinner are excellent choices after a morning of doing all of the attractions at Animal Kingdom. And the lunch and dinner buffet has a LOT of variety on it, including some of the most unique food you’ll find on any in-park buffet.

  • Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood – 90% satisfaction
Fine dining with sweeping rooftop views at Gran Destino Tower. Date night vibes, discounted. This is one of the lower-rated fancy dining meals on property, but at 40% off, it’s probably worth a try. Our review: Toledo Tapas & Steak Is a Great Spanish-Inspired Meal

  • Boatwright’s Dining Hall – 92% satisfaction
Southern comfort food tucked away at Port Orleans Riverside. Gumbo, prime rib, and bread pudding for the win.

  • Cape May Cafe (Dinner Only) – 95% satisfaction
All-you-care-to-enjoy seafood and American fare. Pro tip: bring your stretchy pants. It’s not a surprise that only dinner shows up on the list – we have a feeling that Disney has struggled to fill up the dining capacity here.

July 1 – July 31 Passholder Dining Discounts

If your summer vacation lands in July, the list of participating restaurants shifts. Here’s who’s serving up the savings:

  • The Diamond Horseshoe – 68% satisfaction
Frontierland’s old-timey eatery offering comfort food classics, which is typically only open during higher-crowd seasons. Lower satisfaction here, but with 40% off, it might just be worth a second look. Especially if you can’t get into Liberty Tree Tavern.

  • Whispering Canyon Cafe – 87% satisfaction
Known for its rowdy servers and hearty skillet meals, this spot at Wilderness Lodge is great for families looking for both food and fun. We’re a little concerned about this location showing up on this list with a bunch of other restaurants that have capacity issues. Because Whispering Canyon Cafe is pretty popular, but it’ll be coming fresh off a May refurbishment. Fingers crossed that nothing major is happening there. • Tiffins – 91% satisfaction
Fine dining inside Animal Kingdom, featuring global flavors and gorgeous decor. Perfect for adventurous eaters. We haven’t recommended Tiffins for years because its price point has gotten too high for the food that it offers. But at 40% off, it’s an easy decision.

  • Coral Reef Restaurant – 82% satisfaction
Dine with the fishes (literally) at this EPCOT spot overlooking the Seas tanks. The food can be hit or miss, but has been getting better after getting a new chef in 2023. And the servers here are some of the most knowledgeable that we’ve met at any dining location. And you can’t beat the view into The Seas as you dine.

  • Ale & Compass Restaurant (Breakfast and Lunch Only) – 91% satisfaction
Located at Yacht Club, this under-the-radar gem serves up comfort fare in a relaxed atmosphere. If you’ve never tried the dark chocolate waffles at breakfast, now’s the time. We honestly think breakfast at Ale & Compass is the best value on this whole list. You can select any entree, plus a non-alcoholic beverage and continental buffet all for less than $17 after the 40% discount (and before tax and tip). We’ve recommended this breakfast before as one of the best deals on property, so getting it at 40% off is pretty shocking. Our review: Review: Dinner at Ale & Compass Hits the Spot

A Few Fine Print Details

  • The 40% discount is valid only for Passholders (and you’ll need to show your Passholder ID and a photo ID).

  • The deal covers food and non-alcoholic beverages only, so any adult beverages will still be full price.

  • Reservations are highly recommended, especially for more popular spots like Cape May Cafe and Tiffins.

  • Passholder discounts only apply on Mondays through Thursdays.
  • And, of course, the usual Passholder blackout dates and restrictions apply—so check your pass type before planning your feast.

Should You Take Advantage?

In a word: Dining discounts are rare, and it’s a great opportunity to either revisit favorites or try something new. Especially for those character meals, where prices can soar north of $60 per adult, this is a chance to save some serious cash. So whether you’re a local who wants to squeeze in a date night without breaking the bank, or you’re planning a summer trip and need a solid reason to book that character breakfast, this deal is worth building into your plans. And hey, you might just find that the second dessert is even sweeter when it’s 40% off.

Which of these discounts look great to you? Let us know in the comments!
