Reservations Available for Oga’s Cantina, Savi’s Workshop, and Droid Depot at Walt Disney World

If you want to experience some of the more popular attractions and dining in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you are going to need to make a reservation. And the good news is….those reservations are now available on the Walt Disney World website!

Guests can make reservations for the the lounge, Oga’s Cantina. This should be the first reservation that you make, as time slots will go quickly. For those who don’t know, Oga’s Cantina is similar to the Mos Eisley from Star Wars: A New Hope. Guests will see Captain Rex from the original Star Tours spinning tunes as they enjoy both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options including the Bespin Fizz, Fuzzy Tauntaun, Jedi Mind Trick, and Yub Nub. Draft craft beers and private-label wines are also served.

Over at Savi’s Workshop, Guests will be able to build their very own lightsaber. Here, a group known as the “Gatherers” will bring you into a covert workshop that is packed with unusual parts collected from the far reaches of the galaxy. Under their guidance, you can construct your lightsaber and bring it to life through the power of kyber crystals. Reservations can be made here.

Finally, you can make reservations for the Droid Depot. This is not a location that Guests needed to make a reservation at for Disneyland, so it’s interesting that they are including the reservation system at this location. The Droid Depot is a workshop that is stocked with parts, chips, manuals and other items that are useful for constructing your very own droid. You can choose from a BB-series unit or R-series unit and you’ll then be provided with a basket and blueprint for parts which you can then use to begin your droid-building experience.

As of right now, it doesn’t appear that all the times that will be available loaded in yet, but they should be soon.

  • I keep trying and after getting a time spot in my “cart” and hitting the reserve button, it says “something went wrong. Try again” But I have tried so many times on many different days just to see if it will work and it still says the same thing! I’ve tried using the phone app, my computer and different credit cards, and it say s the same thing every time! Anyone else have this experience?….

  • We just had to change our plans from a long visit in February to a hit the highlights visit in December. Now all my hard work on reservations are gone! Are there any reservation finders for savi’s Workshop or do I just have to keep checking every day?

  • **For everyone trying to get The Droid Depot and/or Savi’s workshop: USE YOUR PHONE!**

I was able to book Savi’s Workshop through the MDE app by searching for Savi’s Workshop which then took me to WDW’s page on my mobile web browser and book it through there. Good luck!!

    • Thanks John! I used my phone and got a reservation for the Droid Factory. It seemed like there were plenty of open times.

  • Got Olga’s reservation for 10/31 yesterday, but haven’t been able to get Droid Factory. Since last night, keep getting the “We’re working on it ” Wreck-It-Ralph screen.

  • A lot of people booked multiple reservations and plan on dropping some once they finalize their plans and park days. I would keep checking as often as you’re able to and something might just show up.

  • Uff, was this announced previously? Slightly annoyed that I was working all day and by the time I saw these articles all the reservations during the days of my trip are gone. I’m a hyper planner and I usually don’t mind these 180-day/60/30 day booking windows but it’s all getting a bit much, especially with their silly website crashing all the time!! Oh well!

    • Couldn’t agree more

      • Agreed – this rollout was disappointing. I was able to get reservations for Savi’s, Droids, and using the TP Reservation Finder – Oga’s. But it was time consuming, glitchy and stressful experience that I’m a bit less excited than I was before.
They really should have done some sort of pre-announcement on this so people could prepare.
And I’m shocked that I have resort reservations and haven’t gotten an email from Disney telling me they’ve opened up reservations for GE during my stay since I’m well within the 180 day window – if I hadn’t seen a blog post on FB I’d have no idea! I didn’t see anything on the Disney Parks blog about this today either … a lot of people are going to be pissed!
Try the Reservation Finder – hope you’re able to get a spot!

    • I would say keep trying. Nothing was showing yesterday for the entire week we’re there in January. I woke up to my travel agent’s message saying she’d snagged a breakfast, lunch, and dinner time for our preferred day (when we already planned to be in that park) and to let her know which we wanted to keep. I wonder if the whole system was just glitching yesterday or if some folks let things go when they realized there wasn’t food there. Either way, keep looking. Things will likely continue to shift and shake out!

  • I have WDW resort reservations starting February 1 and it looks like all Galaxy’s Edge reservations are sold out through at least February 7.

  • Will Oga’s be added to the reservation tracker?

    • It’s already on there and helped me get reservation times on the ideal days of my Novemeber trip!

  • WELP. I was able to grab Droid Depot and Savi’s Workshop reservations. Unfortunately, Oga’s Cantina kept glitching for me, first on loading the main page, then on actually selecting a time slot, and now it’s not showing any reservations available for the days I’ve been checking. I hope that just means Disney’s working on the system and I’ll be able to make a reservation later – I was hoping to see DJ R3X spinning some tunes. I’m going in mid to late October.

I assume/hope that this means Disney will in fact be guaranteeing Galaxy’s Edge access if you have a reservation within the area.

    • Tried for Olga’s on October 31st and nothing was available. Tried again two more times and finally availability came up for 3:25 PM. So don’t give up even if at first there’s no opening.

      • I FINALLY managed to grab one for 9:15 AM on a Monday – one of the days when I was planning to hit Hollywood Studios anyway. There won’t be a lot of alcohol on the menu, but honestly I’m mostly interested in seeing Rex again and taking in the ambiance. Guess I’ll get a Mustafar Lava Roll at least before I go hit Slinky Dog Dash.

    • I’m hoping that too. I can’t see how they could refuse access as that would charge you as ‘no show’, but I still can’t work out the probable way it will unfold. For example, with a midday ADR at Oga’s can you rock up at, say, 9:30am and expect to gain access even if the park is already at capacity?

      • I’m trying to book Savi’s workshop and the Droid Depot but the pages aren’t loading. Go away Wreck It Ralph!

  • I think it crashed the dining reservation service. I’m just trying to book breakfast at Kona Cafe on 8/19/19. I feel sorry for anyone whose 180-day booking window opens tomorrow.

    • Agreed – this is a mess!

  • Wow, they are flying fast, managed to get one on the 11sep at 10am
