Top 3 Things We Ate This Week at Disney, August 28, 2021

The TouringPlans in-park team gets to try a lot of food and drink. From quick service locations to table service meals and snacks in between, we try so many different foods to help keep information on our site up to date. Sometimes foods and drinks are wonderful. Other times, not as much. But what really rose to the top? Here’s our top 3 food or drink options the in-park team sampled this week.

Belle Cheesecake

Le Petit Cafe at Disney’s Riviera Resort is one of our favorite places to grab a sweet treat, and this Belle Cheesecake is no exception. A lemon cheesecake with lemon curd in a vanilla tart shell, decorated with modeling chocolate and pearls to look like Belle’s signature dress, it is a beautiful presentation. Also added is a rose petal for that Beauty and the Beast touch. Aside from the appearance, the taste is wonderful. It’s light and tangy, a perfect lemon cheesecake fit for royalty.

Sisters Cookie

This limited-time offering may not look like a show-stopper, but we love that it is just a simple, good cookie for a reasonable price. It’s $3.79 for these sugar cookies with a layer of chocolate ganache. A very simple treat, but one that could be shared for an inexpensive snack. You can find this treat at Kringla Bakeri og Kafe at the Norway pavilion in EPCOT.

Shrimp Salad Roll

Min and Bill’s Dockside Diner has reopened, with this Shrimp Salad roll, a combination of shrimp, arugula, tomatoes, pickled shaved fennel, and sliced radish with a remoulade sauce in a brioche butter bun. It may not look great, but the flavors were wonderful. It has just the right amount of zip. The one complaint is that there’s a lot more bread to filling, and so you might end up just eating the shrimp out of it.

BONUS: PSL, Baby!

Yes, it’s that time of year again — Pumpkin Spice Latte is back at Starbucks. You can get these at any Starbucks locations in park or at Disney Springs.

That’s just some of the amazing things we’ve eaten this week. Have any suggestions for us next week? Let us know in the comments.
