Have you been to the Tri-Circle-D Ranch found at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort? This is the location where all the Walt Disney World horses, ponies and more are housed and the area is going to be going under a massive renovation.

There will be a brand new barn created for the Tri-Circle-D Ranch which will provided updated outdoor spaces and more modern stables for these gorgeous horses. The new ranch will maintain the history and spirit of the original location. It will welcome Guests to explore exhibits of classic Disney equestrian artifacts.

The Draft Horse Barn and Pony Farm will be temporarily unavailable during this construction work, which starts on August 19 and will last until Spring 2020. Never fear though! For those who would like to go on pony rides, you can still do so at the Trail Blaze Corral near the campground’s entrance. In addition, the resort’s trail rides and carriage rides will continue to operate as normal.

Stay tuned to the blog for more information about the updated Tri-Cricle-D Ranch.

  • We are rating at the cabins at fort wilderness Memorial Day week 2020. Will they still have pony rides? Will you still be able to see the fireworks and electrical parade from the beach? Will construction prevent any of that?

    • Staying*

  • Good for them! This is a good, small investment to make
