Water Park and Sports Option Ticket Add-On

Looking to add a day at the water parks to your Disney vacation? Disney has  started offering the “Water Park and Sports” option as an add-on for your single- or multi-day ticket. If you were a fan of the retired Water Parks and More option, this deal is for you.

Here are the details from Disney.

Visit one theme park per day, plus enjoy a certain number of visits to a water park or other Walt Disney World fun. A 1-day ticket allows one visit, a 3-day ticket allows 3 visits, and a 4-day ticket allows 4 visits. For each “visit,” you can choose one of the following:
  • Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park
  • Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park
  • NBA Experience
  • ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex
  • Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course
  • Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course – FootGolf
  • Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course
  • Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course

Although this is a pricey add-on for a single-day ticket (costing about as much as a single-day peak ticket to a water park, making it a wash or having you lose money if you spend the “visit” on something less expensive like mini golf), the value really comes out when you add this to a multi-day ticket at $70. Essentially, you’re paying for the water park admission and then getting other visits for “free.”

As always, check all your options and figure out your schedule before paying for the extra, but this may be a good option for you, especially as we approach the warmer summer months.

Our Walt Disney World Ticket Calculator does not currently consider the Water Park and Sports Option, but we will update this price comparison tool in the future if more of the vendors we monitor start offering it.

How does this compare to the current price for the Parkhopper Plus option? The most recent thing I found online was that the Parkhopper Plus added $105 to the price of a 1-park-per-day 4 to 10 day ticket, but not sure that is with the most current pricing.

We used to get the previously known Water Parks and More option before it was discontinued, so we had to start getting the Parkhopper Plus tickets. After experiencing the joy of parkhopping, I’m not sure I will go back to not having one despite the return of the previous ticket under a new name.

The Water Park and Sports option is for one-park-per-day tickets. Previously, there was only a Park Hopper Plus option, which means you had to pay for park hopping before adding on water and sports.

Sorry – I misunderstood your question. Water and Sports is $70 per ticket regardless of length. Park Hopper Plus starts at $85 for one day, $95 for 2-3 days, $105 for 4+ days.

So if I bought a 5 day park ticket with water option. Do I have like 5 day window to do major parks and water? Or do I have 5 days of theme parks and 5 days of water? Because I don’t want to waste a day going to water park if I could go to major park instead.

I just looked it up in the Disneyworld website, and for a 5 day ticket with water park option, you have 9 days to use all options.

Do you have to use your water park and sports visits on the same days you go to parks, or could you use a separate day to do them?

for the two day plus water/sports is it two days theme park and a separate date for the water park (three days total)? or for two day is one day theme park and one day water park (total two days)?

Two theme park entries plus two water park entries. There is a specific window of time in which all four entries must be used, but not sure what that is off the top of my head.
