The food takes a backseat to the characters, but you won’t leave hungry, and the kids’ buffet (mac and cheese, mini–corn dogs) will satisfy picky eaters. Best of all, nobody cares if the kids are loud.
Setting and Atmosphere
Can we say madhouse? This big, open dining room with the monorail whizzing by overhead is a cacophony of children’s and parents’ voices. The food is secondary—everyone’s here to meet Mickey and his pals (usually Goofy, Minnie, Donald and Pluto), who promise a stop at every single table. The buffet circles the center of the room.
Breakfast: pancakes, carved ham, pastries. Brunch: breakfast faves (Mickey waffles, etc.), plus lunch choices such as barbecued ribs and baked salmon. Dinner: carved beef and turkey, sundae bar.
Salads and sushi. And Mom and Dad can have a cocktail for dinner—even tequila on the rocks.
