Sushi and rolls a la carte, $5.25-$18
The skill of the sushi artists is as much a joy to watch as is eating the wonderfully fresh creations. Karaoke starts at 9 p.m., with mostly the convention crowd at the microphone.
Setting and Atmosphere
Sushi and nightly karaoke—what a combo! Go early if you want a zen experience with sushi and sake in the serene setting: black-lacquered tabletops and counters, tall pillars rising to bamboo rafters with rice-paper lanterns, and elegant kimonos that hang outstretched on the walls and between the dining sections. The chefs will greet you with a friendly welcome, and you’ll be offered a hot towel to clean your hands.
Both cooked and raw sushi and hot dishes. Classic rolls include California, tuna, and soft-shell crab; the Kimonos roll features tuna, salmon, yellowtail, and wasabi mayo. Small plates include beef satay, pork belly, and tori no karaage (Japanese fried chicken).
