13 Must Try Disneyland Halloween 2024 Food Items

The Halloween season has returned to Disneyland Resort and with it comes a stacked seasonal food lineup for you to enjoy. How good is it? In my 12 years working at TouringPlans this is without a doubt the best Halloween food lineup we’ve ever seen. With so many items available, it may be hard to choose what to eat during your next visit. Luckily we’ve done the research and today we bring you 13 must try Disneyland Halloween 2024 food items.

Fantasyland Garlic Cheesy Brat – Edelweiss Snacks – Disneyland – $12.99

To say Disneyland’s Garlic Cheesy Pretzel Bread went viral when it was introduced earlier this year is an understatement. Magic Key holders and day guests lined up in droves to buy this new snack from Maurice’s Treats. For Halloween Disney turned it up to 11 and shoved a piece of bratwurst into the pretzel bread. This mouthwatering item has it all, gloriously gooey cheese, perfectly soft pretzel bread, and a tasty bratwurst. If you try only one savory item this year, make sure this is it.

Graveyard Banana Funnel Cake – Stage Door Café – Disneyland – $9.99

“Classic Funnel Cake topped with Banana Cream, Chocolate Cookie Dust, Halloween Candy, Whipped Topping and Sprinkles” Sometimes you simply need a big stupid themed dessert to split with a few people and the Graveyard Banana Funnel Cake is perfect for that. One of my guilty pleasures is banana-flavored desserts so when I saw that this would be covered in banana goo it instantly made my list of things I wanted to try. It’s not the best dessert on this list but it’s pretty darn tasty.

Autumnal Harvest Flatbread – Red Rose Taverne – Disneyland – $13.99

“Roasted butternut squash purée, roasted mushrooms, plant-based feta and roasted diced butternut squash topped with garlic miso sauce and fried sage.” This is what Disneyland seasonal items should be all about. Take flavors and ingredients that aren’t normally available in Disneyland and make a item out of it. It’s like they took Autumn and through it on a flatbread. Also, due to recent menu changes, this is one of the better items available at Red Rose Taverne these days.

Taro Bread Pudding – Aunt Cass Café – Disney California Adventure – $7.49

“Warm taro and white chocolate bread pudding with whipped cream and boba pearls served with a coconut-vanilla sauce.” I love taro-flavored desserts so it’s great to see Disney offer flavors like this that they don’t normally have in the parks. If you’re not familiar with taro, it has a mild nutty vanilla sweet taste. Aunt Cass Cafe hardly ever misses with their seasonal bread puddings and this continues their streak. This is a fantastic item and if you try only one dessert on this list make sure this is the one.

Pumpkin Cheesecake Taverne Cold Brew – Red Rose Taverne – Disneyland – $6.79

“Caramel, vanilla and cinnamon cold brew with pumpkin cheesecake topper.” This drink is decadent and definitely one of the sweetest items on the list but wow is it tasty. It’s good even for someone like me who does not like coffee or cold brew. The pumpkin cheesecake topping covers almost all of the coffee taste. This is less a drink and more of a dessert.

Mickey-shaped Pumpkin Salted Dulce Cream Puff – Rancho del Zocalo – Disneyland – $8.29

This unassuming looking dessert is filled with pumpkin mousse and salted dulce de leche. It may not look like much but wow it packs a punch. Wait until you see the cross section:

BAM! This cream puff is heavenly, especially if you like dulce de leche. It is a bit pricey at $8.29 but it’s worth it.

Pumpkin Spice Fritters – Royal Street Veranda – Disneyland – $6.99

“Warm pumpkin spice fritters served with a cream cheese dipping sauce.” There’s not much to say except for that you must try these little fried balls of happiness. However I will give a warning; you will not want to share these!

Hoopla Wrap – Bengal Barbecue – Disneyland – $13.99

“Wild boar sausage with a cucumber-tomato salad and miso aïoli on a grilled lavash.” Wild boar sausage?! Did you ever think Disneyland would sell wild boar at a quick service restaurant? Anyway, this tasty item was both filling and packed with wonderfully fresh vegetables. You could almost make the excuse that this is a salad!

Jack-O’-Lantern Mickey Pumpkin Macaron – Jolly Holiday Bakery – Disneyland – $8.29

It wouldn’t be a seasonal Disneyland food event without a picturesque macaron from Jolly Holiday Bakery. The pumpkin-shaped macaron shell is filled with caramel buttercream and pumpkin cheesecake is good but also very sweet. I would recommend sharing this one, but remember, the camera always eats first.

Hazelnut Brownie Tart with Chocolate Frosting Hazelnut Spread – Jolly Holiday Bakery – Disneyland – $5.49

Lets not beat around the bush, this is pretty much an adult PopTart. But that’s not a bad thing! The pastry itself is flaky and the inside is filled with brownie. This is a great item for people who want something different than pumpkin, but I strongly recommend you get some sort of beverage along with this one. It’s so dense that it immediately dried my mouth out.

Spicy Beef and Mozzarella Corn Dog – Corn Dog Castle – DCA – $11.79

Look at this wonderful mess. There’s not many better things in life than the simple pleasure of a corn dog. This iteration of Disney’s famous and gigantic corn dog is filled with a spicy beef sausage on the bottom and gooey mozzarella cheese on the top. It’s then covered with black berry sauce to give it a sweet taste then blends perfectly with the spicy sausage.

Pumpkin Pie Chai Tea – Galactic Grill – Disneyland – $6.99

The Chai-spiced Pumpkin Iced Tea gives you that great chai taste with hints of vanilla, which blends perfectly with the pumpkin puree cream. As someone who doesn’t like coffee, I’m so glad they decided to make this with iced tea instead coffee like they usually do with these kind of drinks. This is a great drink full of perfect flavors for fall.

Boo-gogi Toasted Sandwich with Corn Cheese Soup – Jolly Holiday Bakery – Disneyland – $15.49

A returning favorite from last year’s Halloween food lineup is the Boo-gogi Toasted Sandwich. It’s filled with marinated beef, grilled onion, mozzarella and kimchi aïoli on sourdough bread. It’s not anything fancy or inventive, but it’s a hearty meal that will fill you up. The included Corn Cheese Soup is also pretty good.

Is there anything you want to try? Is there something I missed that you recommend? Let me know in the comments.
