Breakfast Options Now Being Served at Sanaa
One of the major downfalls of staying at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village is that there is no counter service location for Guests. The becomes a problem in the mornings for Guests looking to grab a quick bite before heading to the parks. Guests were either expected to prepare breakfast in their rooms, or trek over to Jambo House and pick up something from The Mara.
Well now, Disney is now offering a great new breakfast option at Kidani Village for Guests to enjoy. Sanaa will feature a kuamsha (which is Swahili for “to awaken with”) breakfast with both casual dining options, as well as quick grab n’ go items.
The Quick Service options include:
- Savanna Platter: Two Farm Fresh Eggs served any style, Tomato Chutney, Tanzanian Hash Browns and Bacon
- Boere Breakfast: Two Farm Fresh Eggs any style, Tomato Chutney, Tanzanian Hash Browns, Boerewors Sausage and Bacon
- Safari Waffle: Waffle topped with Seasonal Berries and Chai Whipped Cream
- Sunrise Sandwich: Egg, Ham and Cheddar Cheese Served on a Croissant
- Fruit Sosatie: With Quinoa and Dried Fruit Salad
- Kids Explorer Platter: One Farm Fresh Egg served any style, Hash Browns and Bacon
- Kids Mickey Waffle: Two Mickey Waffles and Bacon
In addition, select Grab ‘n’ Go items include:
- Choice of Freshly Baked Muffins, Pastries and Croissants
- Warm Ceylon Cinnamon Rolls
- Banana Bread with House-made African Chocolate Hazelnut Spread
- Seasonal Inspired Fruit Salad
- African Breakfast Cereal with Brown Sugar and Raisins
- Boerewors Sausage and Egg Bobotie Pie
- Yogurt Parfaits

- Assorted Cereal
- Coffee and Hot Tea
- Juice and Milk
These breakfast options will be available from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. daily.
I’m gonna go ahead and take full credit for this– I was calling for availability at AKL last month, and turned down a room at Kidani. When the CM asked me why, I said it was because there was no counter service option for breakfast. You’re welcome. ;o)
That is awesome! You should totally take credit for that and I am so excited for this change!
This is great news. The Kidani Villas tops our personal favorite resorts list. However, it gets old not really having any breakfast options. They started last year offing pre-packages items, oatmeal and pre-made breakfast sandwiches which was nice but I personally did not care for them. I prefer eggs and fruit. I am very happy to see them making this move. Thanks for sharing!
