New Storybook Dining to be Introduced at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

If you have a fan of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in your family, I have a new character meal for you! Opening this winter at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will be Storybook Dining at Artist Point.

Guests will be able to enjoy a delicious meal during this immersive character dinner. You’ll enjoy a uniquely themed prix fixe menu, including shared starters, a choice of individual plated entrees and ‘sweet spells’ to finish the meal.

During the Storybook Dining experience, you’ll be able to meet with Snow White, Dopey and Grumpy,  enjoy delightful music and activities, and you’ll even have an opportunity for an encounter with The Queen. (With the wording of this, it sounds sort of similar to what happens with Beast and Be Our Guest Restaurant, where Beast is in a side room and you’ll be able meet him following your dinner. No word on if that’s exactly what will happen, but I do find it is interesting that Disney is singling The Queen out like this.)

There’s no official word on when this switch over from of Artist Point will take place. I am also curious to see if any of the current delicious menu gets brought over for this new meal. (Like the Smoked Mushroom Bisque.)

Stay tuned to the blog where I’ll have more information for you about this restaurant’s upcoming new offering.

  • A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, …….sorry wrong reference (and it does seem that long ago), but seriously, we took our daughter to a Pocahontas character breakfast at Artist Point back in 1995ish. She met John Smith and Meeko as well as a couple of other characters and loved it. The Pocahontas theming seems like a better fit than Snow White. Hopefully it’s a breakfast and not a dinner, I would hate to lose the adult vibe of the Territory Lounge.

  • As a single adult traveler I’ll miss artist point. Everything I’ve read does say dinner, unfortunately. Also- how will this affect Territory Lounge?? I’ve always enjoyed it as a quiet, mostly adult lounge; will it now be overwhelmed with families and children waiting for their character meal ADR? so disappointing

  • At the rate Disney is turning signature dining into Character meals I’m wondering when Victoria and Albert’s will be converted….just saying…….

  • We won’t know it’s delicious until we review it, surely?

  • I am a huge fan of the dwarfs! So excited!

  • No. There are plenty of character meals.
Artist point should be for Adults, there’s literally no where else to go at WL for a sit down adult dinner. There are plenty of options for immersive dining.

Move it to Whispering Canyon with Toy Story characters.

    • It’s just for breakfast, which Artist Point doesn’t currently offer.

      • The original story (and the Disney Parks Blog) both say this is for dinner, not breakfast.

  • That sounds fun! Thank you for the update! My child is scared of The Beast and The Evil Queen. I am wondering if that is why those characters are singled out. It would be a creepy dinner if they were roaming around!

    • Sorry, breakfast, not dinner!

  • Although I’d love to see the evil queen and seven dwarves…
    At Artist Point, signature dining…no
