Chef Mickey’s, the extremely popular character meal at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, is going to be relocated this summer due to unforeseen maintenance. The restaurant will be moved to a temporary location at the resort’s Convention Center from July 28 through August 13.

Aside from the relocation of the all-you-care-to-eat buffet with Chef Mickey and Friends, the overall Guest experience and the Guest’s reservation time will remain the same. Chef Mickey’s serves breakfast, brunch, and dinner.

If anything should delay the reopening of the restaurant in mid-August, I’ll be sure to let you know!

  • “Unforeseen maintenance.” I don’t want to jump to conclusions, but doesn’t that sound like PR-speak for a pest problem?

    • Perhaps. But if that was what it was, why wouldn’t they relocate immediately?

      • They don’t really NEED to relocate until the eggs hatch.

  • No monorails whizzing overhead.
    Major bummer!
