If you are looking for a rather unique dining experience, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be introducing a brand new family-friendly progressive dining experience. Circle of Flavors: Harambe at Night has a goal of drawing inspiration of African cultures, as well as celebrating the film, The Lion King. Throughout the evening, you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about the importance of the African elephant, the rhinoceros, the Cape buffalo, the leopard, and the lion and the challenges they face around the world, as well as what efforts Disney is taking in working to protect them.

Guests will start with a welcome reception at the Wildlife Express Train Station. Here you’ll receive light hors d’oeuvres, snacks, and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) while enjoying acoustic music before hopping on the train to ride over to Rafiki’s Planet Watch. Upon arrival, you’ll be able to enjoy more light bites and sips, as well getting to partake in a character greeting opportunity with Timon and Rafiki. Once you’re done visiting Rafiki’s Planet Watch, you’ll then hop back on the train and to venture over to Harambe Market for the main event where you’ll enjoy an array of sweet and savory dishes paired with unique beverages.

Circle of Flavors: Harambe at Night begins on July 24. The cost is $125 plus tax for adults and $99 plus tax for children (ages 3-9). Park admission is also required. Reservations can be made beginning on April 3 by calling 407 WDW-DINE.

  • Does anyone know if this experience will continue after the holidays? We want to go but our trip is in April 2020.

  • $448 plus tax for a family of four. Ouch.
