Crowd Calendar Updates for New & Reopening Attractions

Len published a Crowd Calendar update a few months ago to adjust for the new and reopening attractions in Walt Disney World this May. Now we have ride specific crowd level updates to share.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets opens May 26th in Hollywood Studios, but Annual Passholder previews take place via virtual queue May 21st, 22nd, and 23rd. There will be 3 virtual queues on each of the preview days, but the ride will move to the usual Standby / Lightning Lane queues on the 26th.

We are forecasting Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster to remain at a Crowd Level 9 for 21 days, from May 26 to June 15th.

The Bluey Experience opens at Conservation Station on May 26th, too. The TouringPlans forecast for the Wildlife Express Train, the only method of transportation to and from Conservation Station, is a Crowd Level 9 from opening day until June 5th.

Soarin’ Across America opens May 26th in EPCOT, but Annual Passholder previews take place May 19th and May 20th. We are forecasting Soarin’ Across America to remain at a Crowd Level 9 for opening day only.

Wait Times

The information in the graphic above shows our wait time forecasts for Soarin’ and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster for May 26th, opening day. You can find our rolling 12-month wait time forecasts by park and attraction on our Crowd Calendar.

Len and team will monitor actual wait times and make adjustments as needed.

  • Crowd calendar question – will there be a summer update? specifically the first party week in August as that is earlier then in years past. The next week MK is a 3 (due to the party) but the first week of the party it is still a 6. Thanks!
