Details About Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Hotel

On Thursday, we finally got word of the name of the new Star Wars Hotel. It will be called Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser. Guests will be staying on a ship called the Halcyon, which is owned by the Chandrila Star Line.

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will offer a two-night itinerary where all guests arrive and depart together, similar to Disney Cruise Line. Unlike the typical cruise, Guests will be able to have stories that unfold all around them and they will immediately become active citizens of the galaxy.

The Halcyon is known across the galaxy for its impeccable service and exotic destinations. Onboard, you will stay in well-appointed cabins, experience onboard dining, make a planet-side excursion to Black Spire Outpost on Batuu, and more.

Throughout the journey onboard Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, you will be invited to delve deeper into your personal adventure by participating in onboard activities, interacting with characters, crew, other passengers you meet, and becoming part of the action.

Guests will start to get into the story when they arrive at the Galactic Starcruiser Terminal at Walt Disney World. Here you will enter a Launch Pod for transport into space. You’ll witness yourself “leave the real world” as you jump to hyperspace and draw closer and closer to the Halcyon.When you dock with the Halcyon you will step into the ship’s main deck Atrium. This certainly feels very reminiscent of a Disney Cruise Line experience.

During your stay, you will participate in immersive experiences including things like wielding a lightsaber while facing off against a training remote, where you may discover your own connection with the Force. Or when visiting the starcruiser’s Bridge to learn about ship systems, as well as how to operate them, including navigation and defense. These skills may or may not come in handy during your journey. (Hint….they may.)

Every window on the ship including those in each cabin will include a view of space, with ever-changing vistas as the ship sails from place to place.

Make sure you really explore the Halcyon because there are hidden spaces to be discovered deep in the mechanics of the ship.

Oh and like is supposed to happen with Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the choices you make during your adventure will help determine how your personal Star Wars story progresses.
