A few weeks ago, the Disneyland Resort shared that those Disneyland Passholders who held current passes before the parks closed last year would be now known as Legacy Passholders. These passholders would be granted special discounts and opportunities and today, there is one such opportunity that they can potentially sign up for.

Disneyland Resort Legacy Passholders can be among the first to get to experience the brand new Star Wars Trading Post in the Downtown Disney District. Legacy Passholders are invited to make a reservation to preview this shop, along with a friend, before it opens to the general public. Reservations can be made here. This preview will take place from February 16 through February 18.

This new shop, which of course, specializes in all things Star Wars will be opening officially on February 19. When Guests visit, they will be able to spot Rey’s iconic speeder outside. This new shop is inspired by the look and feel of a hidden jungle Resistance base. Of course, once inside, you’ll uncover an exciting variety of authentic Star Wars merchandise, including Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, as well as The Mandalorian, and more.

In order to make your reservation, a valid credit card number will be required at the time of booking your slot. Should you need to cancel, you must do so at least one day prior to your reservation to avoid a cancellation fee. If you fail to cancel and are a no show, your credit card will be charged $10 per reservation.

Guests who wish to attend this event will need to pay for parking. Guests may self-park in the Simba Parking Lot for a daily rate of $10 per car.

Those who sign up for the preview should check in at the former location of the ESPN Zone. In order to be able to attend the preview, registered Disneyland Resort Legacy Passholders must show their eligible Passport and valid photo ID upon arrival. The guest of the Legacy Passholder may only enter the shopping opportunity with the registered Legacy Passholder.

Of course, proper health & safety measures will still need to be followed, including required temperature checks and appropriate that face coverings.

If you would like to be among the first to experience the new Star Wars Trading Post, may the force be with you on being able to get into this preview.
