2022 EPCOT Festival of Holidays: Refreshment Outpost Review

Refreshment Outpost, between the China and Germany Pavilions, adds some specialties to the menu for Festivals.

Our recommendation: This stop doesn’t have a lot on offer, but the dish that is here is outstanding. Especially if you’re looking for plant-based or gluten-friendly options, do not miss.

Our Thoughts

Normally we’d call a Best of the Booth and a Rest of the Booth here, but this booth is too skimpy to divvy up like that. Still: THE DING DANG PEANUT STEW! This $5.25 bowl of spice is both Gluten-friendly and Plant-based. It’s at the top of our “Best $50” and we will never reveal the number of times we’ve had this since it appeared the day after Thanksgiving. It may be too much for the wimpiest of spice wimps, but the sweet potatoes really help to cut the heat, and the salty greens and crunchy peanuts make this a well-rounded bowl that’s large enough to share. Pair this with the AP Frozen Cinnamon Coke and you’re set.
