Magic Kingdom Quick Service Lunch & Dinner – Ranked!
Over a day in the Magic Kingdom, you can easily walk 5 miles or more. At some point, you’ll want to stop and eat! We’ve ranked your options for Quick Service lunch & dinner at EPCOT, based on their ratings in TouringPlans user surveys. Looking for breakfast? See Six Places For a Quick Breakfast in the Magic Kingdom.
One thing to note: Quick Service choices in the Magic Kingdom are generally uninspired. There are some gems, but many menus will remind you of generic tourist attraction food, and it’s not going to knock your socks off in quality either. If you’re getting a late start or plan to leave around dinner time, it may be worth setting your sights on a meal outside the park.
If you’re dining in the park, work into your plans that Quick Service locations get very busy around lunch. Arrive by 11:30 or closer to 1 pm to avoid spending a long time in line and waiting for a seat. Mobile Order in advance can help, but pick up can be slower during the peak hours. At dinner, the crowd is distributed over a wider window, and crowding isn’t as much of an issue. Most, but not all of the restaurants on this list have ample seating. And three of them – Columbia Harbour House, Pinocchio Village Haus, and Pecos Bill’s – have second-floor seating that is usually quieter and less crowded.
#1: Sleepy Hollow Refreshments (Liberty Square)
You’ll find Sleepy Hollow’s walk-up windows tucked into a corner of Liberty Square. And the food passed through those walk-up windows earns Sleepy Hollow the top spot on this list, with a thumbs-up rate of 94% on surveys.
The menu is mostly waffles, but there’s one with fried chicken if you’re looking for savory. And the corn dog is iconic. “The best food in the Magic Kingdom” might not be a high bar, but Sleepy Hollow’s offerings would be great food anywhere. Almost half the survey comments use the word “delicious” for either the waffles or the corn dog. (See the menu here.)
#2: The Friar’s Nook (Fantasyland)
The Friar’s Nook is easy to spot on the main drag in Fantasyland, and there’s always some seating, but at peak times tables and chairs may be placed along the walkway.
The menu is limited, but features crowd-pleasing standards like a hot dog or smothered tots. The caramel apple doughnuts above are no slouch either. (Menu) Diners approve, with a 93% rating, and comments like “Good food for a quick snack.”
#3: Columbia Harbour House (Liberty Square)
Columbia Harbor House is in Liberty Square, just ahead of the Haunted Mansion. Seafood is well represented on this menu that harks to the fisheries of New England, but there are a few items for the fish-averse. (See the menu here).
The fried items are quality, the not-fried items are also very solid, and the green beans are routinely green and not gray. What more can you ask for? In the Magic Kingdom, not a lot. The 92% rating says that most guests are quite happy, and the lobster roll draws raves in the comments.
#4: Casey’s Corner (Main Street U.S.A.)
Casey’s Corner holds down the corner (ha-hah) of Main Street at the hub, and the theming here is right on point. There’s variety on the menu, but it’s all about what you want on top of your hot dog and not about whether your meal includes one. If you’re the lone holdout in a family of dog lovers, you can make a meal out of the loaded fries, or the chili is also available as a side. (See the menu here)
The indoor seating at Casey’s is limited, and the more extensive outside seating can fill up quickly at certain times of the day. But the food is easy to carry away and eat wherever you’re parked while waiting for fireworks or a parade, as many do. Casey’s draws a thumbs up 91% of the time, but comments emphasize the size of the portions more than the greatness of the food.
#T5: Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe (Frontierland)
In Frontierland, Pecos Bill’s has leaned into the build-a-bowl concept to deliver a menu with plenty of variety. The cuisine is Tex-Mex and Southwest-focused, and our reviewers were fans.
Survey comments seem to agree, with notes like “Love the chicken bowls. Food done right!” But opinions are varied, with Pecos Bill’s generating a positive rating only 84% of the time. See the menu here.
#T5: The Lunching Pad (Tomorrowland)
The Lunching Pad’s location can’t be missed, smack in the middle of Tomorrowland. The menu aims to please with a solid lineup of hot dogs, but if you aren’t a hot dog fan, you’re out of luck as far as entrees go. The good news is: a Mickey pretzel and a frozen slushy will still keep you going ’til the next time to fuel up. (See the menu)
The Lunching Pad scores an 84% on surveys, and comments emphasize the speed more than the quality of the food. There’s no air-conditioned seating for the Lunching Pad, but you can carry your food into Cosmic Ray’s across the way.
#7: Pinocchio Village Haus (Fantasyland)
So Pinocchio is Italian and thus Pinocchio Village Haus features Italian cuisine. (We will not inquire deeply into the Germanic spelling of “house”.) In this Fantasyland eatery, Italian cuisine means mostly pizza, also known as flatbread in Disney-speak. (See the menu here)
Disney World is not known for quality pizza, and the 83% survey rating here reflects that, along with comments like “Good (enough) pizza” and “The flatbreads are edible”. Still, that’s about 4 satisfied families out of 5, and the food is no worse than you’ll find at many theme parks. If you do make a stop at Pinocchio Village Haus, head to the upstairs seating. It’s quiet(er), and you may be able to score a table where you can watch the boats load at it’s a small world.
#8: Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe (Tomorrowland)
As you pass through Tomorrowland, drop into Cosmic Ray’s and catch a set by Sonny Eclipse. The animatronic performer will make your meal memorable in a way that the food won’t. The menu is standard theme park: burgers and chicken sandwiches, and the quality is standard theme park too. (See the menu here)
Sonny Eclipse is great, but this is the worst-ranked Quick Service spot in the Magic Kingdom. If it weren’t for the fact that so much of the food in this park is ho-hum, we would definitely recommend giving it a pass. The 76% rating is a good bit lower than even the next-highest finisher on the list, and descriptions of the food in the comments too often use words like “stale”, “overcooked”, and “poor”.

We alternate between Columbia Harbor House and baked potatoes in Liberty Square. That’s still a thing, right?
I think the baked potatoes are gone – they’re not on the menu. But they were never something my family did, so I could be wrong on that.
Back “in the day” the starlight cafe was great bargain. Even with Sunny Eclipse doing the lounge lizard music. Which I rather enjoyed.
They had a pre-covid condiment bar to decorate your burger and those ‘in the know’ would order a double burger…and extra bun. So, you’d hack out two fully decked out burgers with access to the included condoment bar– it was just your basic Disney burger…but ordering a ‘double’ and ability to get a 20 cent extra bun to disassemble and share .. with condiment bar access. It was a great deal.
