Muppet Math & Hints of Things to Come (?) in the New Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Queue
Dare we say the queue and the props at Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets are as good as the ride itself? We do. We’ve had a chance to ride a few times now and a few of the props have caused our old hearts to go mushy.

How cool is it to see The Great Gonzo’s props from Gonzo’s Stunt School – Hollywood?? Such a visionary. Such a risk taker.

If you’re this far into this post, you already know those opening banjo chords. That little frog has made many of us cry with his precious 5 string. Dr. Teeth’s hat would make a pretty spectacular piece of merch, no? We’d love to get a closer look at the buttons in front of his keyboard!

Does anyone know where the attic props on the right of the picture above are from? Our Derek Burgan, author of The Saturday Six, suggested they might be a nod to The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights from years ago. We’re manifesting this as a hint of lights to come.

When Disney first released all of the folks doing cameo appearances and songs for this ride, we were wondering how they would make it into the attraction. Keep an eye out in the pre-show room for the screen behind Scooter.

Time to dust off your whimsy for a second. The L.I.M.O. is a clear reference to the first iteration of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, right? Cool. Have a look at the equation at the top left of Dr. Honeydew’s whiteboard. That’s Euler’s Identity, + 1 = 0, which is often called “mathematical beauty” and links the five most fundamental numbers in mathematics.
Dr. Teeth + The Five Members of the Electric Mayhem = musical beauty. Animal, of course, is the multiplicative, right?

You’ll have a chance to see the Interpol Car from Muppets Most Wanted and the Muppet Mobile Labs just before you board your car. Shameless plug: make sure you stop the timer on your TouringPlans Lines app before the gates open!

Hop out of your seat and spend some time checking out the other cameo appearances around the ride vehicle photo screens. The whole thing is so well done and we can’t wait to ride again.
What did we miss? What little things did you catch in these pictures? Let us know!
