The Ultimate Star Wars Touring Plan for May the 4th

You can create a custom touring plan for just about anything. And so when I asked fellow Star Wars geek Guy Selga about creating the ultimate Star Wars-centric touring plan for May the 4th (be with you) at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World, he knew exactly what to do. These plans are designed for a person who wants to take the entire day and focus only on all things Star Wars at Disneyland Resort and at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World.

Primarily, there’s two attractions that will be repeated throughout the day: Star Wars: The Adventures Continue and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. The hope is that you’re also able to secure a boarding group for Rise of the Resistance and will get to ride that during the day as well. And, of course, because you need to fortify yourself while zipping around the galaxy, there’s lunch scheduled for Ronto Roasters, an afternoon snack at the Milk Stand, and dinner at Docking Bay 7.

Want to plus this out even more? Try to secure a dining reservation for drinks at Oga’s Cantina, or experience the fun of building a droid at Droid Depot or a lightsaber at Savi’s Workshop.

  • I would have liked to have seen some more creative additions to this list instead of just repeating attractions. Cantina? Light Saber? Droid? Photo ops? Character opportunities? Galaxy’s edge game?

    • Me, too. I would like to see a Star Wars plan somewhat similar to the Harry Potter plans that are in the Unofficial Guide to Universal Orlando. I know there may not be enough at Galaxy’s Edge to fill a full day like the two parks that Harry Potter covers, but some extra things to do, even if they are classified as just “diversions” like the Unofficial Guides classifications.

  • Live long and Prosper!

    • Nanu Nanu!
