Summary

Confisco isn't fine dining, but it does fine when you just can’t stand in another line. Because of its varied menu of Mediterranean, Italian, Mexican, and Asian dishes, most people should find something to please them at Confisco Grille. Wood-grilled pizzas have a pleasing crust - check with your server to find out the daily special pies. Compared to many restaurants in the park, there are several options on the menu that can be made vegetarian and vegan friendly.

The adjoining Backwater Bar has a happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m. daily, with $3.75 draft Buds and red sangria, and $4.25 well cocktails ($2.50 more for a double).

Setting and Atmosphere

A way station on the road to Morocco, perhaps? Actually, it’s meant to look like a customs house. Look for “smuggled goods” representing the park's various islands decorating the lobby's upper level. Confisco Grille is decorated in an "adventure" theme and actually includes items throughout the restaurant that represent each "island" in the park. You'll see giant dinosaur skeletons from Jurassic Park, golden urns from Lost Continent, and even a wand from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter if you look hard enough.

House Specialties

Wood-grilled pizzas; hummus served with a puffy lavosh bread larger than most human heads; selection of salads; beef and chicken fajitas; grilled sandwiches and burgers; pad thai.
