Tinker Bell Wings, Grad Items at Walt Disney World Carts
I’m a sucker for all things sold at glow carts — who doesn’t love things that sparkle and shimmer, making nighttime even more magical.
While at Epcot last week, I saw a returning favorite and a new addition to the glow carts. First, graduation is here for so many students, and whether you’re celebrating graduation from preschool or on up to a PhD, who doesn’t love to wear Mickey mortarboard?
(Also available at the cart is a “glow lanyard” for graduates, but truth told, you’re better off buying an inexpensive one from your local party store.)
But, new to me and sure to be incredibly popular are the Tinker Bell glow wings. These are sure to be a huge hit and remind me a bit of the butterfly backpacks from Spectromagic (if anyone remembers those?).
According to the Disney Parks Blog, these wings can be found at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, Elias & Co., and World of Disney at Disneyland and at the Emporium (Magic Kingdom), Mouse Gear (Epcot), Discovery Trading Co. (Animal Kingdom), the Fantasmic Cart (Disney’s Hollywood Studios) at Walt Disney World, but as they also seem to be making appearances on merchandise carts during the day and glow carts at night.
What do you think of these fairy wings? Do you have a little pixie who would love a pair? Let me know in the comments.
Cost???
Currently they are priced at $28.
I spent so long making my little fairy a pair of light up wings, this would have been so much faster!
Will those fairy wings fit an adult…? 😉
The straps are adjustable, so I’m hoping they would. I’m willing to bet within a few days we’ll start seeing adults wearing them if they can.
From the official Disney Parks blog post, it definitely looks like the wings can fit adults, and not just adults who can still wear child sizes. https://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2019/05/tinker-bell-glow-wings-now-available-at-disney-parks/
