PHOTOS: New Star Wars Themed Refillable Mugs
More and more Disney is looking for ways to offer upgrade opportunities throughout the resort. This is one instance in which they may have gotten it right. We spotted these Star Wars refillable mugs at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort. They are available for $10 as an upgrade for guests using the Disney Dining Plan, or for $29.99 if you do not have the dining plan. Just like the traditional mugs, they earn you unlimited refills from the soda fountains of the resort hotels during your stay.
The Force is strong with these mugs; the design is quite attractive. Luke Skywalker, R2-D2, and C-3PO pose on the sands of Tatooine with a Landspeeder. The sleek design and lack of handle adds more practicality than the standard mugs, when thinking about using them at home, in a car, or even in a stroller’s cup holders.
What do you think of these Star Wars refillable mugs? Would you upgrade to them?
They appear to be at all the resorts, however they’ve been in and out of stock.
Hi Dani, I know this article is 3 years old now, but I was wondering if you might have seen these Star Wars refillable mugs around anywhere recently?
Thanks George
Hi George, No, we’ve not seen these around lately, but we haven’t been able to confirm that the metal refillables are permanently retired either.
Good point, where are they all located in?
Are these available at multiple locations?
Any idea the capacity?
I’m really hoping for more stainless steel mugs to come out before out trip in March. I’m not a fan of plastic for all sorts of reasons…
For $30 without a handle, nope. Hasn’t Disney learned from the last time they put our resort mugs with out handles that they are hader to use and keep with you during the day? A handles mug can fit into cup holders just fine. A mug without a handle isn’t easily clipped to bags mor as easy for some smaller children to use.
Yep! It is stainless steel! Thanks for reading.
We don’t do refillable mugs anymore. However, for $10 and f I were getting one on free dining, that isn’t a bad price. Especially for a vacuum insulated one, presuming it is metal.
