We were upgraded many years ago at Wilderness Lodge (they had some DVC room damage from a hurricane, so this was their comp). Unfortunately, that year we had gotten a dining plan too (purchased before check-in). It was way too much food! You can take advantage of it for every meal. However, my husband was not “full” in the evening so an actual meal was required according to him. I think that it is worth it as well – by itself – especially for the adult beverages that you can enjoy that are included 🙂

That’s really great input for our readers; Dining Plan + Club Level might just be too much food! Definitely something to consider when trip planning.

My family of 5 stayed in a club level room at the Yacht Club in February 2016. We absolutely loved it! In the mornings, my husband and boys threw on clothes and went to breakfast while my daughter and I used the bathroom and got ready, and then we swapped. When breakfast is just down the hallway, it is very easy and convenient to “divide and conquer” and get going quickly in the mornings to the parks! We also really enjoyed the evening desserts every night, which were bite sized so you could sample all of them without overdoing it. For 5 people going during an off-peak time, the extra cost was minimal and well worth the convenience and food. We also took advantage of the extra assistance offered by the club level concierge, who managed to reserve Fastpasses for the Anna & Elsa meet and greet when it was not available online. 🙂

Just reading this makes me want to book Club Level for my next trip. Your experience sounds like an absolutely dream! When kids are involved, having easy access to food makes all the difference.

When we went in 2015 for the last 24 hour day event, the Boardwalk Resort was so full we got bumped up to club level! It was *amazing* and really made us feel special. I would definetly do it again (on purpose haha) for a special event.

I’m so glad you got to experience Club Level at the BoardWalk. I think it’s definitely something to try out should you have the option.

Not sure that the “special check-in” area means anything in this age of express check-in and room-ready texting! Also the concierges can’t get you hard-to-get reservations unless they’re available anyway (unlike concierges in an expensive hotel in NYV or LV). Having said that – we’re still trying out the Poly club level for our trip this fall!

When you word it like that, I think the perks really come down to the food and turn-down service (which still may be worth it for a lot of people!). Let us know how you enjoy the Poly at Club Level. Sounds like you’re in for a great trip!
