Baymax from Big Hero 6 Now Meeting Guests at Epcot

Have you been missing your opportunity to meet your favorite personal healthcare companion Baymax from the film Big Hero 6? Well, I bring good news!

Guests can now meet the squeezable character at the Epcot Character Spot in Innoventions West. More good news is that Guests will also still be able to interact with Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy too! They will be located on the opposite side of the breezeway.

Up until recently, Guests could meet Baymax and Hiro at The Magic of Disney Animation in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. That location closed earlier this year to make way for the new Star Wars Launch Bay. Hiro will no longer be meeting with Baymax at Epcot.

The Epcot Character Spot is open from park open to park close and it is very exciting that Guests now have the opportunity to meet one more great character in this location!

  • So I have a fast pass for character spot the second week of January. Who will I be seeing with the FP?

  • That’s exciting. I think my kids would be happy to meet Baymax. If we get a fastpass for character spot, does it cover Baymax too. or is he separate?

  • Well that’s depressing. Hiro is the main character of the movie and was the life of the previous meet and greet.
    It’s like a half completed meet and greet.

    • of course its much easier to cast a non-face character!

      • I feel like this is one of those things where Disney just makes a decision to not have a character just because. They already have their Hiro cast. Yet they still cast other face roles every other month.

      • I think it is great. It would be better if it were both, but I am so glad that they’ve brought Baymax back. I hope he is permanent!

      • I’m not saying it’s not great. In general sure. But compared to what they have produced for us, they removed half of it.
