Celebrate May the Fourth With Special Events at Disneyland
May the Fourth Be With You! Can you believe it’s already almost time, once again, for the unofficial Star Wars holiday on May 4! And this year, at Disneyland, they will be celebrating with some fun activities that you can only participate in on that particular date. Special celebrations are happening in Tomorrowland including limited-time food, beverage and merchandise offerings.
First Guests can jump to light speed with the return of Hyperspace Mountain, the popular Star Wars-themed overlay to Space Mountain, which will only be around for for a limited time.
Fans of Captain Phasma won’t want to miss the March of the First Order, when she her a legion of Stormtroopers make their way through Tomorrowland.
Of course, there will be food, right? So, make sure to stop at Alien Pizza Planet for Star Wars-inspired treats including the Outer Rim Pasta. This dish comes with sausage, peppers, creamy tomato sauce, and tomato relish served with the chef’s choice of pasta. Over at Galactic Grill you can grab the Dark Side Chicken Sandwich with fried chicken breast, coleslaw, and Asian sweet chili sauce served with your choice of Greek yogurt or fries. There’s also a Chili Cheese Burger as well as the Loaded Fleet Fries which are seasoned waffle fries topped with bulgogi shredded pork and Asian slaw.
Looking for sweets? Choose either a red or blue lightsaber churro at the churro cart near Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters.
Specialty non-alcoholic beverages will also be available. At Galactic Grill, pick up the Padawan Punch (a Granny Smith Apple-flavored slush) and the Rogue Slush (a watermelon-flavored slush). You can also grab an exclusive Star Wars-themed Travel Mug, Darth Vader and Captain Phasma Steins, or a BB-8 Sipper. If you are a a popcorn bucket fan, there will be special ones available too.
For those souvenir lovers, there will be plenty of item like hats, pins, and t-shirts at both Star Trader and Launch Bay.
