Darth Vader Headed to Star Wars Launch Bay
Get ready to be able to meet Darth Vader once again at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Beginning on August 29, the Star Wars villain will able to be found at the Star Wars Launch Bay, which is found in the Animation Courtyard. It appears that Kylo Ren, who previously met at the Launch Bay will be exclusively found in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, once the land officially opens on August 29.
For those who haven’t visited Star Wars Launch Bay, it’s a celebration of all things Star Wars. First, there’s an exclusive short documentary on the creative team behind the films. There’s a also walk-through exhibit that features many props, replicas, and memorabilia from the Star Wars saga. If you want to meet favorite characters, you’ll not only be able to meet Darth Vader, but Guests are also able to meet Chewbacca, as well as BB-8. Finally, you can purchase merchandise, including some really unique items.

Any idea if they are pulpy Kylo Ren BEFORE aug 29th in order to swap out the background, etc? We just received my sons costume and plan to meet Kylo on Monday August 26th. My son will be so sad if we miss him! Pls advise!
I hope they actually have photographers at this meet and greet. We were there last week to meet Chewbacca, and the camera is an automatic camera box like a photo booth or something. The CM just pointed to the box and said look here. No good shots of the interactions with the character. So disappointed. I will be really glad if the Visa photo op is Vader.
yeah i’ve read the tinkerbell option is the same at MK, hoe awful! the photographers are key to getting great shots. this is not a way to cut costs.
i wonder if the disney visa card exclusive meet and greet there will switch to darth vader as well?
