Slide Into Spring at Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park

For those who may have missed the news, Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park at the Walt Disney World Resort will be reopening on March 7. For those who are looking to soak up some rays and splash in the water, one-day water park tickets are now available for purchase. They cost $69 + tax (Adult) and $63 + tax (ages 3 – 9). Other ticket options are also available. Guests may purchase their tickets online and tickets will remain valid through December 31, 2021. At this time a park reservation is not required to visit a water park. Do keep in mind that reservation requirements are subject to change.

For those that had already purchased water park tickets, they will automatically be extend. That includes any unused, unexpired 1-Day Disney Water Park tickets that were active at the time the water parks were closed through December 31, 2021. Guests may also still choose to cancel their ticket and if you would like to choose this option, you will need to call the Disney Reservation Center. If you already purchased a water park ticket but were unable to visit by December 31, 2021, you may apply the value of an unused ticket toward the purchase of a ticket for a future date.

If you had purchased a Water Parks or Water Parks After 2 Annual Pass and it was active at the time the Water Parks were closed, it will be automatically extended for the period both Water Parks were closed. As an alternative, water park Passholders may instead choose to cancel their pass and should call (407) 939-2732.

When the water park reopens, Disney’s Blizzard Beach will operate in alignment with the health and safety protocols implemented. This will include reduced capacity, temperature screenings, physical distancing and face coverings. Face coverings will be required in designated areas for each Guest age 2 and up, including the park entrance and exit, retail areas, and food and beverage ordering areas. However, face coverings will not be permitted while experiencing water slides or when swimming in the water. Guests may also remove face covering while actively eating or drinking, but Guests should be stationary and maintain appropriate physical distancing.

At this time, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park will remain closed.
