New Tropical Americas Construction Photos

The construction of Tropical Americas at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is coming along. We stopped by today to check on the progress.

The photo above seems to show the frame of El Carrusel de los Animalitos, the Encanto themed carousel with 22 hand-carved animals from Pixar and Disney stories. Details of this attraction were shared during D23 last month.

It’s exciting to see so much active construction on this project although Disney recently removed the “coming in 2027” information from their website. We’ll provide updates when Disney decides to release more information.

The archway, above, will be the main entrance to Pueblo Esperanza, the town at the center of Tropical Americas. We’ve got at least a year or so before we’ll be walking under the arch, but it’s great to see so much progress happening.

We’ll report back as more icons take shape!
