Cutest Disney Bag Ever

Like Julia, I’m a big fan of the Disney-themed accessories from Loungefly. They’re less expensive that the Dooney & Bourke bags and more weather resistant than many of the Vera Bradley bags.

This new Loungefly pattern that’s shown up in the parks and on shopDisney.com is an instant classic. We found ours in the jewelry shop on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom, but they should be available in many locations.

It’s like they cutified all the best Disney icons (Dole Whip, turkey legs, Mickey & Minnie, balloons, it’s a small world, Space Mountain, Dumbo, Big Al!, and more) and then placed them on the most lovely field of teal.

The pattern is available in a backpack style ($75) or as a wallet ($50). Both are lined in a darling teal and white stripe.

How long do the patterns typically last in the stores? I am torn between ordering one now online (sight unseen) or waiting until my WDW trip the first week of August to be able to pick the one I like the best. I’m worried these won’t be around in the stores by that time, but I really have no idea. Any advice?

Most of the bags last in the stores for at least a few months. I can’t 100% guarantee that these will still be available during your visit, but if I were in your shoes, I would feel comfortable waiting. This print is new, so my educated guess is that they’ll be out for the entire summer.

And I COMPLETELY understand your desire for the just the right placement of the pattern. Every time I look at that photo of the bag with Big Al’s head cut off, I want to scream. When I got my first Disney Dooney I went to several stores at WDW until I found one with a complete castle in the center of the bag.

Very helpful! And it was the headless Big Al that made me ask! Thank you, Erin!

This reminds me of the Kingdom of Cute line. The artist isn’t mentioned but it is quite similar in style.
