New Star Wars Datapad Achievements Commemorative Pins Available

Have you been using the Datapad via the Play Disney Parks app when visiting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge? Well now, you can commemorate any achievements you’ve earned with three new trading pins that will be available for purchase. These pins include fantastic designs like Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and BB-8. These new pins can now be purchased at select locations at both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort, while supplies last.

To earn the digital achievements via the Play Disney Parks app, Guests will need to be logged in to the app, and opt into Bluetooth and Location Services. Once you enter Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge you’ll be able to earn the “Black Spire Explorer” achievement. You’ll then need to ride Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run to earn the “Flight of the Falcon” achievement. Finally, you’ll need to ride Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance to earn the “Hero of the Resistance” achievement. Once the qualifying achievement has been earned and unlocked in the Play Disney Parks app, all you’ll need to do is show the digital achievement screen to a Cast Member at one of the participating stores to purchase the applicable commemorative pin.

• Westward Ho Trading Company in Frontierland

At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the pins are art:

• Keystone Clothiers
• Celebrity 5 & 10

To be able to earn these achievements via the Star Wars Datapad, you’ll of course, need to the Play Disney Parks app downloaded to your phone. Pick it up in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

The app also allows you to listen to specially curated playlists on Apple Music, participate in interactive experiences, Disney trivia and earn uniquely themed achievements across Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort.
