Star Wars Instant Pots — ‘Nuff Said
If you haven’t yet embraced the Force that is the Instant Pot, these Star Wars-themed ones might pull you over to the dark side. Available in Stormtrooper, R2-D2, Chewbacca, Darth Vader, and BB-8 designs, they range in price from $79.95 for the mini 3 qt. model up to $119.95 for the 8 qt. model. These are available online from Williams Sonoma, but if you want them, you’ll want to order quickly. These are sure to be a “hot” item for your kitchen!
WS also has an R2D2 popcorn maker that looks even MORE like our favorite droid…but it costs the same as the R2 Instant Pot, which (incidentally) you can use to make oil-popped popcorn at the least. I’ve already put in my preorder for the R2 Instant Pot; it’s actually not an unreasonable price, even with the Star Wars license premium.
Oh, and there’s a Le Creuset roasting pan with a Han Solo in Carbonite lid. For $450. I will not be getting that one either, particularly as I never make roasts.
It’s a running joke in our household that Lucas said “yes” to pretty much everything people wanted him to put the Star Wars name on when he had the brand, but Disney is really on track to outdo him with crazy collaborations like this one. That said… I think these are cool.
