Universal Orlando Resort to Remain Closed Through Mid-April Due to Coronavirus Concerns
The Universal Orlando Resort will remain closed due to Coronavirus concerns until April 19.
According to Universal Orlando:
We are extending the closure of Universal Orlando Resort through April 19 as we continue to respond to current conditions and make the health and safety of Team Members and Guests our top priority. This includes our theme parks and Universal CityWalk.
The Universal Orlando Resort Hotels have also temporarily suspended operations. We will continue to monitor the situation and make adjustments as needed, based on guidance from health agencies and government officials.
The Resort initially announced they would be closed through March 31, 2020.
At this time, the Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort have not announced extended closures.
