What should you know?

Monsieur Paul may be a bit formal and highpriced for many park guests, but if you can get past the sticker shock, this is the spot for a quiet dinner and conversation. Chef Nicolas Lemoyne, who worked at l’Auberge du Pont de Collonges in Lyon, France, wows diners with classic French tastes, including warm chocolate-almond cake with raspberry coulis. There’s also a three-course fixed-price menu, along with a solid wine list. A rather grown-up kids’ menu includes roasted salmon and grilled beef tenderloin.

What’s it like inside?

Light and modern, Monsieur Paul is tucked away at the France Pavilion. Access lies up a stairway lined with photos of legendary chef Paul Bocuse, whose son, Jérôme, owns and runs the restaurant, along with Chefs de France. Despite the relaxed ambience, the cuisine is upscale, with sublime sauces and classic preparations. Request a table at the windows to watch the world go by on World Showcase Lagoon. Seats just 120.
