Genie+ Price Increases at Walt Disney World and Disneyland

Genie+ is Disneyland and Walt Disney World‘s FASTPASS-style ride reservation system. Starting today, Disney announced variable pricing for this popular add on, with some days being more expensive than others.

Walt Disney World Resort

Genie+ price now varies by date. For the month of October, Genie+ price will range $15-$22. Previously, the Genie+ service was a flat $15 on any day. Disney stated in their announcement: “Prices subject to change beyond October” It’s safe to assume that moving forward Genie+ prices will be in line with the different ticket pricing tiers. For example, if you visit EPCOT on October 22, 2022 (which is a Saturday) when a ticket is priced at $154, you’ll pay $22 for Genie+. But if you visit on October 18, 2022 when the tickets are priced at $139 you’ll pay around $15 for Genie+.

Individual Lightning Lane pricing for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will also have variable date-based pricing from $15 to $22.

Disneyland Resort

Genie+ at Disneyland Resort will be $25 for all guests when purchased in advance. This is up from the previous price of $20. Guests who do not purchase Disney+ in advance of their visit will be subject to variable pricing upon their arrival. Magic Key holders will receive a 20% discount on Genie+ when purchased on the day of their visit.

Also of note, WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure at Disney California Adventure will now be included as a regular Lightning Lane selection with the Genie+ service. Previously a WEB SLINGERS ride reservation was only available as an additional Individual Lightning Lane purchase.
