Priceline Express: Early September Deals
..and we’re back again with another mini-drop of Priceline Express deals!
These newest deals run through the first half of September, starting only a few days after the opening of Galaxy’s Edge, which makes me scratch my Bantha in wonder.
There are just a few days of $72 deals at Art of Animation at the very start of the month, with a larger drop of $116 – $122 deals at Coronado Springs. For comparison, on these dates you can book Coronado on regular Priceline for about $226 and directly with Disney for about $248.*
Be aware, you may need to massage your starting and ending dates to get some of those Coronado deals to appear. In my latest search I found that extending the weekend back to Friday and out into the week caused more deals to appear. However, if you just searched some of those days without the weekend included, they were a no-show.
Below is a calendar of deals I found for September for your deal reading pleasure.
If you are new to the whole Priceline Express Deals thing, you may want to jump over to our earlier blog post Using Hotel Canary to Book Priceline Express to get a feel for the basics on how to use Hotel Canary to aid in deciphering deals. You can also read through our other Priceline deal posts which have additional tips to help you along.
Using Hotel Canary along with comparison shopping the resort details can help you become fairly sure of which resort an Express Deal is for – just remember that no guess is guaranteed. Good luck with your search!

Hi John
I’m looking for one night, Sept 1st, and was hoping for PORFQ or AKL. Is it possible that additional resorts will open on PE for the above date? Or should I assume the Coronado PE deal is the only choice? Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Melanie ONeil
Hi Melanie!
These days, when Priceline drops a bunch of deals it is pretty rare for other resorts to fill in that same time frame. Anything can happen of course, by my best guess is Coronado is your only chance for that date.
AKL and POFQ have become rarer as the year has gone on as well.
If I’m looking for a deal in early-mid October will those not show up until early September? Also, is that a silly pipe dream due to SWGE opening plus food and wine plus Halloween time?
Hi Stephanie,
Since the start of this year deals have been dropping in the 2-6 week out range, but Priceline does like changing things up once in awhile.
The deals in this post just showed up yesterday, which is 2 weeks before the first deals in this group. (A few more days of Coronado deals also appeared today for the 22nd and 23rd, so I’d watch for the possibility of rolling dates dropping too.)
Regarding more deals for October: there have been a few times over the last year where I told myself there was no way any deals would show up. (Thanksgiving & Christmas breaks, these new ones right after Galaxy’s Edge.) At this point I suspect it might be easier to predict the daily stock market numbers. 🙂
But, if I had to guess: at this point I do think there will be more deals coming up.
If only for the fact that I was wrong a few times already. 😀
