WDW Park Hour Updates for December

It’s about that time again…time for Walt Disney World to update its park hours.  It is December’s turn, so if you’re planning a trip next month you probably want to check this out.  If you are curious about the manner in which Disney releases park hours (and why it changes them two weeks prior to the start of the month), it is all explained in this blog post.

Sunday, December 4: 

• Magic Kingdom is now opening at 8am.
• Disney’s Hollywood Studios will now have two Fantasmic! shows.

Tuesday, December 6:

• Disney’s Hollywood Studios will now have two Fantasmic! shows.

Wednesday, December 7:

• Animal Kingdom will now close at 6pm.

Friday, December 9:

• Magic Kingdom is now opening at 8am.
• Disney’s Hollywood Studios will now have two Fantasmic! shows.

Saturday, December 10:

• Magic Kingdom is now open from 8am until 1am and will have two Main Street Electrical Parades.
• Disney’s Hollywood Studios is now open until 10pm and will have two Fantasmic! shows.

Sunday, December 11:

• Magic Kingdom is now opening at 8am.
• Disney’s Hollywood Studios is now open until 9pm and will have two Fantasmic! shows.

Monday, December 12:

• Magic Kingdom is now open until 9pm.

Tuesday, December 13:

• Disney’s Hollywood Studios will now have two Fantasmic! shows.

Wednesday, December 14:

• Disney’s Hollywood Studios will now have two Fantasmic! shows.

Thursday, December 15:

• Magic Kingdom is now open until 10pm.
• Disney’s Hollywood Studios will now have two Fantasmic! shows.

Friday, December 16:

• Magic Kingdom is now opening at 8am.
• Disney’s Hollywood Studios will now have two Fantasmic! shows.

Saturday, December 17:

• Magic Kingdom is now open from 8am until 1am and will have two Main Street Electrical Parades.
• Disney’s Hollywood Studios is now open until 10pm and will have two Fantasmic! shows.
• Animal Kingdom is now opening at 8am.

• Magic Kingdom is now opening at 8am.

Monday, December 19:

• Magic Kingdom is now open from 8am until 11pm and will have two Main Street Electrical Parades.

Thursday, December 22:

• Magic Kingdom is now open from 8am until 11pm and will have two Main Street Electrical Parades.
• Disney’s Hollywood Studios is now open until 9pm and will have two Fantasmic! shows.
• Animal Kingdom is now opening at 8am.

Friday, December 23:

• Magic Kingdom is now open from 8am until 12am and will have two Main Street Electrical Parades.

As always, we will be updating the changes on the Touring Plans site very shortly.  You can also expect some slight changes to the Crowd Calendar as a result of the shifting hours.  Disney extends hours when it expects a slightly higher attendance, so our Crowd Calendar may move to reflect that expectation.
