What You Need to Know About Visiting Avengers Campus
Wow! Can you believe it? In just a few short days, Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure will FINALLY be open! After an almost year delay, due to COVID, Guests will finally be able to step foot into this incredible land at the Disneyland Resort themed after your favorite super heroes. June 4 can’t get here soon enough.
Guests will find that each section of Avengers Campus is “hosted” by a different hero in an effort to show recruits (that’s you and me!) about their unique powers, technology and knowledge.
But there’s a lot you’ll need to know before getting to experience this land. Here’s the basics of what will help you on your mission.
All recruits planning to visit Avengers Campus will need both a theme park reservation and valid ticket for Disney California Adventure park on the same date. Do keep in mind that theme park reservations are limited due to capacity limitations and will be subject to availability. You are going to want to make sure you’ve got your plan in place ahead of time. (You can make reservations up to 120 days in advance, as of right now.)
To enter Avengers Campus, you’ll be able to head to the main entrance located right next to the Worldwide Engineering Brigade (also known as WEB). This can be found just past Carthay Circle Restaurant and across from Golden Vine Winery.
There are two ways to gain access into Avengers Campus. Guests have the option to use the standby queue, or the virtual queue option for WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure. Here’s how each option works:
To use the standby queue, which will only be available when Avengers Campus reaches capacity, you’ll find it to the right of the main Avengers Campus entrance by the Worldwide Engineering Brigade (WEB).
For those who want to experience WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, you’ll be required to join the virtual queue. The virtual queue will be available via the Disneyland mobile app. There is no standby line for this attraction. Similar to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, virtual queue enrollment times will be twice daily, once at 7:00 a.m. (which you can do from your home or hotel room) and once at 12:00 p.m. Once your boarding group is called, Guests should head to the left of the land’s main entrance along the parade corridor. Should you get a virtual queue boarding pass, you can then enjoy Avengers Campus after your boarding group has been called and you have entered the land.
In order to obtain the boarding pass, as well as do other things in the land, Guests should make sure that they download the Disneyland app. Guests will want to have location services and Bluetooth enabled and turn on notifications to receive your virtual queue call back details and other important information.
Guests who are looking to get photos taken throughout their visit should consider purchasing the new PhotoPass+ One Day. This is a limited-time offer available through the Disneyland app where you can capture and share your unforgettable moments with unlimited downloads from the day of your visit!
In addition, with the Play Disney Parks app, you can experience interactive moments throughout Avengers Campus courtesy of in-app experiences, like Avengers Campus trivia, plus land-based and attraction digital achievements!
Guests who visit the land will be able to see some of their favorite characters, some for the first time ever, like Iron Man, Black Panther, the Dora Milaje, Black Widow, Ant-Man and The Wasp. You’ll also want to be on the lookout for Spider-Man who takes to the skies high above Avengers Campus. In addition, at a nearby Ancient Sanctum, Doctor Strange will train recruits in the mystic arts by bringing this area to life with powerful spells.
As a reminder, as far as attractions go, of course, there is the new WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure. Also you can experience the fan-favorite Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!
If you’re looking for food, make sure you check out our guide to all things foodie here. Guests looking to dine should use the mobile order service and pay with the Disneyland app for a contactless ordering Currently, Guests can only pick up a food and beverage mobile order if they are already inside Avengers Campus. Don’t place a mobile order hoping that you’ll be granted access into the land.
If you’re looking for the latest gadgets, accessories and fashions, you will find them at WEB Suppliers and the Avengers Campus Supply Pod. You can also visit the Disneyland Resort Backlot Premiere Shop, which is now open.
Other tips for those traveling to see this new land, include that Guests should be aware of the latest health and safety guidelines. In addition, until June 15, only California residents may visit Disneyland Resort theme parks, and party size is limited to no more than three households. Then, beginning June 15, Guests from outside of California will be welcome back.

Do I have to be a CA resident to buy park access?
Everyone is free to BUY tickets and make park reservations now (Disneyland is using a rolling 120-day reservation calendar).
However, you do need to be a CA resident to actually VISIT the parks in the next couple weeks. Starting on June 15th, anyone can visit.
