Big news! Disney Cruise Line has announced its first sailings to its brand new private island – Lighthouse Point. The Lighthouse Point sailings are included in DCL’s release of itineraries that cover late spring and summer 2024.

The other significant news in today’s announcement is that the Disney Magic will home port at Fort Lauderdale next summer. In the past, DCL has used Miami as a second port in Florida in addition to Port Canaveral.

The Disney Magic will sail 3, 4, and 5 night Bahamian cruises from Fort Lauderdale, many of which will stop at Lighthouse Point, as well as 5 night Western Caribbean cruises from Fort Lauderdale.

The Magic’s most popular sailings will almost certainly be the four 5-night Bahamian cruises embarking on July 1, July 14, July 29, and August 12. These voyages will include stops at BOTH Disney islands, Castaway Cay and Lighthouse Point.

The Disney Fantasy will have two sailings that stop at Lighthouse Point – a 10-night Southern Caribbean Cruise, embarking on July 25, 2024, and a 7-night cruise embarking on June 8, 2024 with two stops at Lighthouse Point. This first Lighthouse double-dip is likely to sell quickly.

Other Fantasy sailings are primarily 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean routes featuring Castaway Cay.

The Disney Dream will make her summer home in Europe in 2024 with departures from Barcelona, Spain; Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy; and Southampton, England. Ports visited on these trips include locations in Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Turkey, Belgium, England, Scotland, Ireland, Norway, the Netherlands, and Iceland.

The Disney Wonder will continue to sail her usual week-long routes in Alaska.

The Disney Wish will sail alternating three and four night trips from Port Canaveral with stops at Nassau and Castaway Cay.

Booking begins on Monday, March 27, 2023 for Platinum level Castaway Club members and Golden Oak Club members, with staggered booking for other Castaway levels until booking opens for the general public on March 30. Note: DCL has not yet added earlier booking for guests who will be included in the new Pearl Castaway level. Pearl member benefits begin on May 1, 2023.
