Here at TouringPlans, our raison d’etre is maximizing your time on the rides. But there are many times when going on rides, or at least some rides, is not the right way to spend time in a theme park. This may be because:

  • You’re pregnant and rides are contraindicated
  • You have motion sickness issues
  • You have sensory processing issues that are exacerbated by motion
  • You have some other medical issue that contraindicates rides
  • You’re the caregiver for someone with the above issues
  • You’re supervising a young child
  • You don’t like rides
  • You prefer non-moving attractions
  • You don’t feel like waiting in a line

  • Did you forget about the amazing adventureland treasure hunt game? I didn’t see it here and it is free. I think it is called Treasures of the seven seas.

  • Wow, raison d’être and contraindicated in the same blog! The only other time I’ve heard contraindicated used was in 5 o’clock Charlie. Now to pick a nit #26 we want to hear g-rated humor probably spell check issue. And #43 extreme shake? I thought we weren’t doing rides in this list. Oh, that kind of shake. Never mind. Oh and no Sonny Eclipse on the list, scandalous!
Nicely done otherwise, some I wouldn’t do but it shows that there is plenty to do in the Magic Kingdom even for those who can’t ride rides.
