Description And Comments
This zany take on US history is hosted by James “J. J.” Jefferson—the town crier of Liberty Square—and Sam the Eagle, the most patriotic of Muppets. Also starring Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie, and Gonzo, the show is performed several times daily. There are multiple versions of the presentation, some with singing, some with storytelling, but all contain the Muppets’ famous humor. We love it.
Touring Tips
The Muppets Present...Great Moments in American History is performed in windows above Liberty Square, near The Hall of Presidents. Performances typically take place every 30–50 minutes starting around 11:30 a.m. and ending around 5–7 p.m. No shows are scheduled around parades (for example, 2:15–4 p.m. on days when the afternoon parade is at 3 p.m.).

Special Comments
This attraction has a "seasonal" status and, as of late 2019, does not usually run. It may, however, be brought back at certain times of year when Disney anticipates high park attendance.
