Magic Kingdom in Fantasyland, inside Cinderella Castle

French toast, quiche, poached lobster, beef tenderloin, fish of the day, braised short ribs, and chocolate cake

It isn’t cheap to eat here, but no matter—families can’t seem to get enough of this “Disney magic.”

Setting and Atmosphere

A recent spiffing-up of the medieval banquet hall included new carpet and new costumes for the servers, but most guests won’t recognize the difference. It’s still the top spot for dining in the theme parks. While the food is better than average, it’s more about experiencing a character meal on the second floor of Cinderella Castle.

House Specialties

All meals are fixed-price character affairs, and the kitchen is upping its game - at breakfast there's caramel apple-stuffed French toast; goat cheese quiche; poached lobster and shrimp topped with a poached egg and hollandaise; beef tenderloin and cheese frittata; or a healthy plate with scrambled egg whites, hot 10-grain cereal, Greek yogurt, house-made granola, walnut-sunflower bread, and fresh fruit. At lunch you'll find fish of the day, braised short ribs with parsnip mashed potatoes, gnocchi or rice with seasonal vegetables, and pan-seared chicken with goat cheese polenta. Dinner fare may include slow-roasted pork loin and flourless chocolate cake.

Guest order from a limited menu. Seconds or additional items are usually allowed, but are left to the discretion of the server.
