What’s it like inside?
This unique bar theme should appeal to Haunted Mansion fans everywhere with the deep purples, greens, and dark seating we’ve come to associate with the popular theme park attraction.
There are Easter eggs galore, and Grim Grinning Ghosts even make an appearance. The setting is meant to evoke both nostalgia and an original nautical storyline.
That storyline involves a sea captain who wasn’t able to realize his dream of helming a luxurious ocean liner. He met his untimely demise right before he was to be wed to a beautiful survivor found in the wreckage of a doomed ship. A portrait of the captain, as well as clues about the couple’s mysterious disappearance, can be found around the bar. The captain’s hat can be seen in the aquarium full of spectacular ghost fish. There is also a portrait of the mysterious bride-to-be that flickers between her portrait and her true form.
What are the specialties?
The libations take a walk on the spooky side, with several mocktail options. For those that imbibe, there's a twist on a margarita served with a swirl of flavored smoke and a tequila-based cocktail with a secret message that's revealed under a black light. Watch for glow-in-the- dark drinks to complement the atmosphere. There's a hidden menu that's shown by tipping the iPad menus and answering some Haunted Mansion– themed questions.
