Crown & Fin, on Deck 3 Forward, is the Wonder’s sports bar, now with a British pub twist. Union Jack flags flank the entrance, and the decor includes many subtle nods to the Disney films set in the UK, including Mary Poppins, 101 Dalmatians, and Peter Pan. Large LCD screens are mounted on walls and columns all around the room, allowing you to watch multiple games in progress at the same time. There’s plenty of seating – mostly large, fabric-covered and upholstered chairs, plus a handful of semi-circular booths in the back – to accommodate large crowds. If you’re interested in playing a few games, Crown & Fin has tables for checkers, chess and backgammon too.

Besides televised sports, Crown & Fin hosts family-oriented and adult activities throughout the day, ranging from Disney character-drawing classes for kids, and trivia contests, to afternoon beer tastings. Check your Personal Navigator for the schedule.

Diversions usually has an hot appetizer bar available during games, with nachos, hot dogs, wings and other bar food. The bar menu includes at least 14 kinds of British brew, plus UK inspired cocktails. A full bar is available, and waitstaff provide service to you at your seat, so you don’t have to miss any of the game.

We’ve had a good time watching basketball games at Crown & Fin. Given the size of the ship, the odds are good that you’ll be able to find other fans of your favorite teams, too. Also, because their satellite feed pulls in sporting events from around the world, there’s always something to watch. Note that if there’s a specific game that you want to see, show up at least 30 minutes before the game and ask a member of the crew to find the right satellite station. With literally hundreds of channels, it sometimes takes a while to find the right one.

Comparing the Ships

With the creation of Crown & Fin, the sports bar on the Wonder is now on par with those on the other Disney ships. Crown & Fin's more open floor plan means you’re more likely to interact with other guests, whereas you can keep to yourself easier on the Magic, Dream, and Fantasy.
