Disneyland has implemented a reservation system to keep manage theme park attendance. Currently, a park ticket and a reservation are required for entry, and no day-of tickets will be sold.
To get started head to Disneyland Resort's Theme Park Reservation page.
Click on "View current availability for theme park reservations" to see which days and parks have availability. Days that are sold out will be marked out, days with Disneyland and Disney California Adventure availability will be marked with both the blue Pixar Pal-A-Round and pink Sleeping Beauty Castle icons. Days only showing one icon means the other park is sold out. For example at the time this page was published, DCA is sold out on June 4, but Disneyland is still available. That means only the Sleeping Beauty Castle icon is shown on that day.
When you're ready to purchase tickets, click "Select Tickets" on the Disneyland Resort's Theme Park Reservation page. Here you can select a 1 through 5 day ticket. Multiday tickets can be used on any day, but 1-day tickets have a confusing tier based system with varying prices on different days.
If you're purchasing a 1-day ticket, you'll be presented with a calendar filled with the previously mentioned tier prices. Click on the day you plan on purchasing.
You'll then have a chance to select the number of tickets you want, as well as a regular park ticket, or a ticket with park hopping.
Even though you purchased your ticket you are not done yet. Now you must secure your theme park reservation. Click on "Book Theme Park Reservations" to move on to the next step.
Now you'll be asked to create your party. If you are reserving tickets for multiple people be sure to select all of them before moving on to the next step.
You can now select your reservations date or dates.
Now you will select which park you want to attend. Keep in mind, if you purchased a park hopper ticket the park you select on this page will be the one you start in. You can then hop to the other park at 1:00 PM. So if you select DCA as your starting park you will not be able to park hop to Disneyland until 1:00 PM.
Review your selections. Don't worry if you change your plans, you can make changes to your park reservations after you've confirmed them (subject to availability).
Scroll down and confirm that you have read the terms & condition. You also need to confirm everyone in your party are California residents, and that your party doesn't contain more than 3 households.
You're all set. A confirmation screen will appear that also has a link to view your current reservations.
If you have multiple reservations this is what your screen will look like. Here you can cancel specific days and reserve new ones.
