Description And Comments
While Savi's Workshop is technically a shop, reservations are recommended (although you can certainly walk-up and ask if there is same-day availability). Savi is a scrapper who is sympathetic to the Resistance and has been slowly gathering lightsaber parts over many years. His hope is that a true hero will find him and have the ability to construct a real weapon. Luckily, that hero is you (and your wallet).
Fourteen guests are allowed in at one time to create their story, and then their lightsaber. The choices are: Peace and Justice (Jedi), Power and Control (Sith), Elemental Nature (raw and inspired by nature), and Protection and Defense (ancient). From there you choose your kyber crystal, which powers the lightsaber and gives the blade its color. The choices are green, red, blue, and purple and each gem has the capability to be removed and added to a holocron cube (purchasable at a different shop) to hear lessons from previous wielders.
The cost for this experience is currently $249.99 plus tax. For that price guests can construct their own hilt from a handful of part choices. The hilt is then connected to a 36" blade that is non-retractable, but a carrying case is included. There is no age limit, but Disney recommends builders be age 5 and over, and one of the party must be 14 or over. For each builder, only two guests are allowed, so choose wisely.

Special Comments
- This attraction has an extra cost beyond park admission.
- This is a scheduled experience. Although same-day reservations may be available, we recommend that you book in advance.
Like a table-service meal, reservations are available 60 days in advance. If you do not show up for your reservation or cancel it same-day, Disney says it will charge you the full lightsaber price as a penalty.
