Summary

This cantina, overseen by alien proprietor Oga Garra, will instantly remind fans of the Mos Eisley watering hole seen in A New Hope. DJ R-3X (better known as Captain Rex, the former Star Tours droid pilot voiced by Paul “Pee Wee Herman” Rubens), spins an original 80s-style synth-pop soundtrack. Bartenders dispense drinks from a tangle of tubes and bubbling tubs behind the bar; all beverages here are premixed and Star Wars themed, so you can’t order a gin and tonic or other terrestrial tipple. Ten signature alcoholic cocktails are on the menu, including Bespin Fizz (a bubbly Cosmopolitan), Fuzzy Tauntaun (foam-topped citrus), Jedi Mind Trick (botanicals and bitter grapefruit), and Yub Nub (passion fruit rum punch). Our favorites are the Outer Rim margarita with black salt and the spicy bourbon Jet Juice. Draft craft beers and private-label wines—such as Toniray, a teal-colored cuvée from Princess Leia’s doomed home planet Alderaan—are also served, as are nonalcoholic drinks (such as the frozen cookie-crowned Blue Bantha) and an addictive snack mix with seaweed crackers and wasabi peas. At breakfast, you can get a Bloody Rancor (Bloody Mary with “bone” garnish) and spiked Spiran coffee with a decadent Mustafarian Lava Roll (cinnamon roll topped with crumbled Oreo cookies) or a refreshing cup of Rising Moons Overnight Oats with yogurt and exotic fruit.

As the first (and so far only) place to drink alcohol inside Disneyland Park, Oga’s is packed from rope drop to last call, so you must have a reservation to enter. Use the Disneyland app or visit disneyland.com/cantina at 7 a.m. on the morning of your visit to book your bar time; be prepared for a 15- to 30-minute wait once you check in, and beware of a $10 per person penalty for no-shows. There are only a few booths, so most patrons must stand along the bar. Service can be brusque at best, and if you linger too long over your libation, you may be asked to exit after two drinks or 45 minutes.
