My wife and I stayed in this room and appreciated how quiet it was (far away from everything, plus no adjoining room on one side). For our NEXT trip, HOWEVER, we will be targeting just a little less far down this hallway and more directly in front of the water hole you see in pics (such as room 5575). During our stay, although we had giraffes directly below our balcony multiple times, animals overall were around the water hole more, so the closer to that the better, in our opinion! Obvious major downside of this room is the LOOOOOONG walk back and forth from the lobby. Sooooo much longer than you'd think just looking at a map. That makes this room ideal for a staycation and not ideal for a constant hustle & bustle-type of trip. Nonetheless, would HAPPILY stay in this room again!

May 2025- I would not choose this room again because of its distance from the rest of the resort. It took three minutes to walk once off the elevator. It was a resort only stay, and so taking advantage of the resort activities felt cumbersome this far away, there is also not sufficient lighting at night by this room so you cannot see the animals at night
