We watched a herd of antelope frolic from our non "savanna view" room! It was a hike to and from the lobby/buses, but there is a shorter way to the pool if you use the parking garage elevator. We even saw fireworks from our balcony. Since it is situated on the outside curve, you have a completely private view. There are two feeding stations within view of the balcony. We saw okapi, zebra, ostrich, antelope, and crowned crane.

We were delighted to have gotten allocated a partial savannah view on our standard view booking, it's my understanding that these can be quite hard to come by. The villa was enormous with plenty of room to accommodate two families of 4 people. You get the benefit of being on the point where two savannahs meet and overlook nothing beyond this but vegetation, so is a very private balcony. We saw Okapi, Zebra, Water Buffalo, Antelope, Gazelles, Ostrich, Warthogs and Crowned Cranes.
