The view was wonderful but the room itself was not what I considered deluxe. The bathroom was the smallest I've seen. I've had larger at moderate resorts. Sink, toilet, and shower all in one room. It was so small that I had a hard time closing the door since I use a walker. The bed was bad too. It had a board under the mattress. It did not go all the way across the mattress so you could feel where it ended in the middle of the bed.

This room was a disappointment. While you can see the water from the room, it was not a nice view of it. It did include an ok view of the higher fireworks from Epcot. The room itself was poorly laid out with a small footprint to fit both a king and pullout sofa (std size). The bathroom was even worse with the toilet/shower cramped to the extreme. There was literally less than an inch clearance between the door swing and the toilet. Finally, it was a noisy room. Really really noisy. You could hear everything in the hallway, including the elevator and icemaker across the hall, as if they were in the room with you. Noise from the outside wasn't as bad but still noticeable. Thankfully we were only here one night before transferring to the Boardwalk Inn (and a great room there, 5273, that was amazing). Comparing the two rooms, the Boardwalk Inn room was leaps and bounds better in every respect (layout, noise, view, comfort) and about 1/4 less money per night.

just wanted to confirm that this was somehow the worst mattress I've had in all my stays in disney and we usually love the mattress. this was our first deluxe splurge and we were a bit disappointed. the lay out of the bathroom leaves you feeling like there is not one sanitary surface in the entire room due to the proximity of the toilet to all surfaces. I don't know how the prior commenter with walker could have possibly make this bathroom work! props to them! the view is nice and the proximity to the side entrance was the perk of this room.
